When we love, sometimes, we give our all. We take the stars and the moon to give it to the person whom we love so dearly—of course, in a figurative way. Aside from the attention and affection that we give to our significant other, we buy things that would make him or her happy even if it means leaving us penniless. Ah, the things we do for love.

This young woman from Facebook, Amcie Christine Tonio, just went through a bad break up. Yup, you guessed it right. It was because of the infamous third party. But the worst part was the stuff she bought for her now ex-boyfriend, most of which are branded and fresh from New York!

On Sunday, June 4, Amcie posted a message to her former beau and to other girls out there who are experiencing the same thing. Read what she had to say.

“Efforts“

“Kahit anong effort pa ang ibigay mo sa mahal mo, lolokohin at iiwan ka pa din nila para sa kanilang pang sariling kaligayahan. Kaya dapat marunong kang makipag-sabayan at wag mo ibigay ang lahat lahat. Hindi ko pinagsisisihan na nagbigay at nag-effort ako. Actually, I’m very thankful coz I’ve learned a lot.”

“I learned so much and I apply that knowledge to become better now.”

“Pinost ko to hindi para magpasikat kundi para pangaralan ang lahat na hindi lahat ng bagay nadadaan lang sa magagarang bagay. At kahit anong ibigay mo na effort at pagmamahal sa mahal mo kung magloloko ay sadyang magloloko dahil hindi natin hawak ang isip ng ibang tao. Lalo na kung LDR. Hindi mo sya masyado nababantayan dahil may mga taong hindi marunong makuntento.”

“Hindi ako nanunumbat. Actually sobrang laki ng pasasalamat ko sayo dahil sa dami ng aking natutunan at hindi natutumbasan ng kung ano man na halaga yun.”

“Ex, dahil blinock mo Na ako sa lahat at wala na tayo communication sana magtagal kayo ng bagong pinalit mo sakin  I pray for your best. Maraming salamat sa more than a year na nakilala at nakasama kita. I’m better now. Sorry kung ang kulit-kulit ko dati. Sorry kung naging LDR tayo kase need ko mag OJT abroad for 3 months lang kaya tuloy napunta ka pa sa iba. Sana sa susunod na mamahalin mo. Wag mo na isasabay sa iba.”

“At sa may mga Jowa na LDR dyan, matuto kayo mag hintay at magtiis. Kung hindi nyo kaya, i-break nyo na lang agad kaysa pagsasabayin at lolokohin pa.”

Along with her message posted on her timeline were photos of the supposed gifts for her ex who cheated on her. Among the thing she purchased in New York during her internship were Nike shoes, Dolce & Gabbana perfume, Aeropostale, Jordan, and Under Armour shirts, and Adidas string bag. Sweet and adorable handwritten letters were found with the gifts. A+ for effort, indeed! Sadly, the guy was a lying b*stard.

Seriously, this guy is truly an a**hole. But well, at least they already split. For a girl like Amcie who gives her all, she deserves the best.
