“I Feel Complete!” Jake Zyrus Admits That He Has Already Undergone Breast Removal Surgery

Recently, international singing sensation Jake Zyrus, who was formerly known as Charice Pempengco, decided to publicly announce his complete identity change. During his revelation, he received a lot of comments, both good and bad, particularly from his own grandmother. After the issue with his grandmother, Jake now admits that he has already undergone breast removal as part of his transition.

“I underwent a top surgery,” said the 25-year-old international singing sensation confirmed during an interview with News 5. According to him, he had his breasts surgically removed through a medical procedure known as female to male (FTM) chest reconstruction surgery or “top surgery.””

The star also added that his surgery on March 29, 2017 marked the birth of Jake Zyrus.

When asked about the details of his surgery and the removal process, he happily narrated it by saying:

“Dr. Manny and Pie Calayan—sila yung gumawa. I’m so happy kasi sobrang—hindi naman sa ano—pero maganda. I know hindi pa ako nagpapa-sex transplant, pero I feel complete.”

Jake also admitted that he is taking intravenous testosterone booster to help him with his transformation as a full-fledged man.

“Ngayon, I’m on testosterone, two months. [Yung] injection every three months,” he said.

Jake said that the testosterone made his voice deeper and helped him grow a mustache. He also said that he is very happy with what he is turning out to be as well as the positive reaction of some of his fans. He said:

“Masaya ako, pero nahihiya ako. Hindi pa rin kasi ako makapaniwala.

Kasi parang dati—and I’m sure madaming makaka-relate na mga transmen there—siyempre kung hindi ka pa nagkakaroon ng bigote, minsan nagdro-drawing ka pa sa mukha mo, kasi yun yung pangarap mo.

So, parang every day, pag nagigising ako ngayon, I know two months pa lang siya…

My god! Parang nagpi-freak out ka kasi siyempre parang all your life… kumbaga, parang nagbibinata ka.”
