Ferdinand, the man who fell in love with Lola Lydia, is only 32 years old. He claimed that the woman is her first love which is why he married her. They exchanged vows on May 11, 2017, in Lobo, Batangas.
The family of Lola Lydia was surprised when they learned about her unbelievable relationship with Ferdie. However, their love for each other is strong enough that nothing held them back from marrying each other despite their age gap.
Lola Lydia said that she would like to know how Ferdie looks like, but because of her poor eyesight, she would not be able to do so.
“Ang nagustuhan ko po sa kanya ay mabait siya, maawain, matulungin,” the 74-year-old girlfriend said when asked what made her like Ferdie. Netizens also showed their support to their relationship and some even envied her for still meeting her “forever” at such an old age.
