What do men get when they catcall women? Does it boost their confidence level, feel superior among the women or do they really just enjoy catcalling women that much? W
In this social experiment conducted by Kami.com.ph, they showed how the men of Manila behave when they see a woman who is dressed in “s*xy” clothes. The girl walked in various parts of the city to see how people would react. Sadly, it seemed that many of them, even some young men seemed to have forgotten how to respect women. In just a span of one hour, the girl received ten cases of catcalling from some not-so-well-mannered men.
The same experiment has also been done In the busy city streets of Manhattan, the only difference ieing that the girl that walking around the street is wearing a pair of jeans and a jacket and that she talks back to the men that catcalls her. But people, especially men should realize that catcalling is not a right thing to do and it is a type of harassment.
All people should dress the way they want and prefer to. What other people say should not matter as their words do not define who you are. Respect, that is the thing that many women wanted from the people who catcall them (is that so hard to give?).
